🔹 Algebraic Expressions

• A term is a part of an expression like 3x or -5.
• The coefficient is the number in front of the variable.
• Simplify by collecting like terms (same variables).

🔹 Linear Equations

• One variable, one solution.
• Solve using inverse operations to isolate the variable.
• Keep the equation balanced on both sides.

🔹 Linear Inequalities

• Similar to equations but with inequality signs (>, <, ≤, ≥).
• Reverse the sign when multiplying or dividing by a negative.
• Solutions are shown on a number line.

🔹 Mapping and Functions

• Mappings pair inputs to outputs.
• Functions assign exactly one output to each input.
• Arrow diagrams and tables are used to show mappings.
